Fire Extinguisher Inspection

NFPA 10 Certified

The Ontario Fire Code requires that your fire extinguishers are inspected and serviced by certified technicians.  Our technicians are trained and certified in fire extinguisher codes and servicing.  Ensuring that you have:

  • The correct number of fire extinguishers.
  • The right type of fire extinguishers.
  • That fire extinguishers are located properly.
  • Tested and maintained to ensure they work properly when needed.

Annual Inspections

Fire extinguishers are required to be inspected monthly and annually.  Monthly inspections can be done by uncertified individuals, while annual inspections require trained fire protection technicians.

Our annual inspection consists of:

  • A complete detailed visual inspection of the fire extinguishers as outlined in the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 10.
  • Tagging of the fire extinguisher with details for the inspection.
  • Re-sealing the pull pin with dated tamper seals.
  • Detailed reports are kept of the fire extinguishers inspected.
  • Certificates are issued upon the completion of a certified fire extinguisher inspection.

Any deficiencies or additional testing required are communicated to you for your understanding and approval.
